Desert Sky board authorizes reimbursement to Southwestern Utility Management by check instead of wire

Acting as the Desert Sky Domestic Water Improvement District Board of Directors, the La Paz County Board authorized the treasurer’s office to disperse reimbursement funds to Southwestern Utility Management by check. County staff said the reimbursement had been previously approved, but the method of disbursement on the prior approval listed a wire transfer; the board approved changing the disbursement method to a check.
A county finance representative explained the change and no additional funds or policy changes were requested. The board approved the change by motion and voice vote.
