Committee returns from executive session and approves position reclassification and settlement authority

After executive session the Financial Administrative Committee authorized reclassification of a county clerk position and approved settlement authority for case 23 CV 5945.
The Financial Administrative Committee met in executive session on Aug. 28 under Illinois statute to discuss personnel and pending litigation matters, then returned to open session and took two committee actions. After closed session the committee approved a reclassification of position number 37017 in the County Clerk’s office; Member Hewitt moved the reclassification and Member Clark seconded the motion. The committee also authorized settlement authority in case number 23 CV 5945; Member Clark moved the settlement authority and Member Volitsyk seconded. Both motions passed by voice vote. At the open session close, the chair confirmed adjournment and scheduled the next meeting for the following Thursday.
