Board members also discussed the election logistics and funding. County Clerk Laura (county clerk) explained counties have asked for pre-funding from the state for any additional election costs and said any unused funds would be applied to the June 2026 election. County Administrator Angela Davis confirmed the state had scheduled the special election as of the meeting date.
