Lake County Public Works reported on Sept. 3 that an emergency repair to a southeast interceptor sanitary sewer near Sailing Lake has been completed and the county authorized payment to the contractor that performed the work.
Director Austin McFarland told the Lake County Public Works and Transportation Committee that Berger Contractors Inc. completed the emergency repair and recommended approval of payment of $219,847.59 from public‑works reserves for the work.
