Veteran tells commissioners property taxes on second home exceed its value, asks for help

“I just don't understand how the taxes go up on a house like that,” the resident said, adding, “The taxes is more is is more actually than what the house is worth, really. So if anybody can help a old veteran, he sure would appreciate it.”
The resident gave his current address as 904 Langston Drive and said the taxes on that property are handled through his mortgage escrow; he contrasted that with the Lunddale property.
