On June 2 the Trenton City Council approved the authorized disbursements dated June 2 in the amount of $1,114,642.77, placed the fire department’s April 2025 report on file, and scheduled two study sessions for June 16.
Mayor Pro Tem Benedetti moved to approve the disbursements; the motion was seconded and approved unanimously. Benedetti then moved to place the fire department monthly report for April 2025 on file; that motion was also approved unanimously.
Benedetti also moved to hold a study session at 6 p.m. immediately before the council’s June 16 meeting to discuss non‑police and non‑fire building improvements. The council then approved a separate motion — following a second and a roll‑call vote — to hold a closed study session after the study session on June 16 to discuss litigation. The roll call recorded "Yes" votes from Benedetti, Kavawatin, Hornbeck, Perugy, Rodriguez, Rezeppa and Vaughn Crooks; the motion carried.
