A motion was made and seconded authorizing staff to proceed with forming the advisory group. The committee recorded unanimous approval. Members clarified the group would be advisory only, unpaid, and intended to provide best practices, market insights and recommendations for the city’s economic development efforts.
Committee members asked staff to pursue a balanced mix of local and regional perspectives and to return with a proposed roster and timeline for appointments.
