Staff reports small uptick in single-family permits and higher construction costs in July

Planner Logan Dye summarized the July community development report, saying single-family unit counts were up by nine compared with July 2024 and total construction costs were “approximately 3,000,000 higher than they were last year.” He also noted a slight uptick in code cases and a small decrease in sign permits compared with the previous July.
