BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. — The Blue Springs City Council unanimously adopted a new strategic plan for 2025–2030 on Aug. 18 after a presentation by city staff, directing staff to align future budget decisions to the plan’s priorities.
The plan, presented by George (city staff), sets a mission ‘‘that the city provides services that promote a safe and welcoming environment, support sustainable growth, and strengthen community for today and tomorrow’’ and a vision that ‘‘Blue Springs is a growing community with the heart of a small town, driven by big opportunities and a commitment to a high quality of life for all,’’ the presenter said.
