The Board of Public Service opened bids Sept. 2 for air cargo pavement reconstruction at St. Louis Lambert International Airport. Helen, a staff member who read the letting, said, “We have 7 bids.”
The letting included the following total bid amounts: Vernon Jones — $2,048,000; Gershenson Construction Company Inc. — $2,198,220; Raineri Construction — $2,242,609.57; Concrete Strategies — $2,470,598.71; Millstone Weber LLC — $2,535,580.66; Wright Construction Services Inc. — $2,572,000; Vision Civil Construction LLC — $2,642,682. Helen read each bidder and the corresponding totals into the record.
The board did not award the contract during the Sept. 2 session; the bids were opened and recorded. Acting Chair Director Greg Hayes presided over the meeting in President Bradley’s absence.
