Volunteers and local groups are fundraising and organizing events; staff said a donation account exists with the Douglas County Community Fund for contributions to the municipal stadium project and that the project team will report back as fundraising activity and grant work progresses.

The municipal stadium effort is in early fundraising and planning phases; the advisory board asked staff to invite project representatives for a future update when they have a more developed plan.
