FARGO, N.D. — Fargo police on Monday announced the arrest of 20-year-old Seondre Douglas in Jamestown and said evidence recovered overnight connected him to the Aug. 3 killing of Elijah Hughes, 20, while investigators continue searching for 19-year-old Tyrique Jones in the related killing of 20-year-old Azim Holmes.
Captain Alfeldt of the Fargo Police Department said Douglas was located in Jamestown Sunday evening and arrested after a brief foot chase; detectives served an arrest at 12:20 p.m. Monday at the Cass County Jail. "Late last night, evidence from the scene connected Douglas to the murder of Elijah Hughes," Alfeldt said.
The department said Douglas has no permanent address and was arrested on two open warrants issued last week by the Cass County State's Attorney's Office — one for felony reckless endangerment and one for…
