City planning staff presented the 2024 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER), the required annual report to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for CDBG and HOME grantees. Caitlin Christie and Mark Williams explained the CAPER documents accomplishments and project status for Fargo’s 2024 program year (May 1–April 30).
The report covers activities primarily benefiting low‑to‑moderate income residents and summarizes both ongoing 2024 projects and some projects completed during the program year. Staff said the CAPER is available on the city's website and that, after the commission receives and files the report and after the public comment period closes on July 24, the city will submit the CAPER to HUD for final review and approval.
The commission voted to receive and file the report.
