Advocates ask Pinole council to add caste as a protected category; request to place resolution on future agenda

He asked the council to take the matter up at an upcoming meeting and said such a resolution would align Pinole with other California cities and institutions that have taken similar steps. City staff said they would collect Pariar—s contact information and follow up. No formal action was taken on the resolution request during the Sept. 2 meeting.
