The finance committee called public hearings for two federally related housing and community planning items: the city’s 2023 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) and the 2025–26 Annual Action Plan. Both hearings were scheduled for Aug. 11 at 7 p.m. Staff reminded the committee that the CAPER public hearing will take place on Aug. 11 at 7 p.m. and that the annual action plan public hearing would also be scheduled for that date. Committee members seconded the motions to call the hearings and voted in favor. No further substantive discussion on the program content took place at the committee meeting; staff will accept public comments at the scheduled hearings and provide follow‑up materials as required by federal program rules.
