Council tables vote on zoning and CUP for proposed RV park to Aug. 26

Weatherford City Council voted to table a requested comprehensive plan and zoning map amendment (ZCH‑25‑0006) and a conditional‑use permit (CUP‑25‑0006) for a proposed recreational vehicle park on an approximately 10.97‑acre tract generally described at 220510 Top Road.
Planning staff informed the council the item had been tabled twice previously at the Planning & Zoning Commission. Staff said the applicant made contact the day before the most recent P&Z meeting but overall communication from the applicant had been intermittent; council members urged the applicant to provide required information before the next P&Z cycle. With no P&Z recommendation available, the council agreed to set a date certain to continue consideration to the August 26 council meeting.
Council member Matt Tiscus moved to table the item to Aug. 26; Zach Smith seconded. Council recorded no public speakers during the hearing and emphasized the applicant needs to provide requested materials to planning staff prior to the next Planning & Zoning meeting so the commission and council can act.
