District staff told the board that a new tower for the Grindstone site is fully assembled and will be installed in a single crane pick.

The contractor has bolted the structure together and reported it will be a one‑piece pick for installation, district staff said. Remaining site tasks include installing waveguide ladders, safety climbing systems and coordinating crane timing for the lift. Staff said crews plan multi‑day work windows on site to complete stacking and final connections.

The board received an update that billing for the project remains on plan and that crews expect to conduct the lift soon, pending weather and crane availability. No formal board action was required; staff will report progress at the next meeting.
