The Plan Commission on Aug. 7 approved a two‑lot certified survey map to subdivide property at 10001 W. Church St. into two commercial lots. The northern parcel will retain the existing gas station; the southern parcel is intended for a future grocery store site.

Planning staff noted wetlands on the southern lot and said any impact to those wetlands would require a separate natural resource special exception. Access to Lot 2 is planned from Lovers Lane Road and will require approval from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation because that segment is under state jurisdiction.

The commission voted to conditionally approve the certified survey map; subsequent site‑plan and wetland‑review applications will be required before development on Lot 2 can proceed.
