Ibarra said the city had previously bid the signage work multiple times without success because the project requires firms certified to Texas Department of Transportation standards; only one qualified bid was received. Staff recommended awarding the work to Triple H Field Services LLC and authorizing the city manager to negotiate and execute an agreement not to exceed $304,434.30.
Council action: Councilwoman Ramon moved to approve the award and authorization; Councilman Diaz seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
