The Eagle Pass Transportation Policy Board on Wednesday unanimously approved opening a 20-day public review and comment period for the draft fiscal year 2026 Unified Planning Work Program, the MPO’s annual work program and budget.
"This is part of the required steps for adopting our budget," Mister Madera, MPO staff, said. He told the board the MPO will advertise the comment period in local newspapers and accept comments by phone, email and online to meet public-notice requirements.
Board members confirmed the MPO will route outreach through city and county channels and social media to encourage participation. No changes to the UPWP were made at the meeting; the public comment period is intended to collect feedback before the MPO finalizes its annual work program and budget.
