Everman previews new no-scroll city website built on CivicPlus; launch imminent

City staff told the Everman City Council Tuesday that the city is close to launching a redesigned city website, built by vendor CivicPlus, with a “no-scroll” homepage and organized department menus to make information easier to find.
The presentation by a city staff member outlined user-facing features including direct buttons for news, the calendar, report-a-problem, online payments, notifications, the civic center and ordinances, plus department-specific menus that link to items such as public works water-quality reports. “We are getting very close to launching the new website,” the staff member said, adding that Mayor Pro Tem Tim Mackey spent several hours helping to review content and formatting.
Staff said the new site will replace the older site and that CivicPlus has assured them the old site will not remain discoverable via Google links. Councilmembers praised the layout; one said, “It looks really nice. You've put everything that consists of the city of Everman.”
The site includes a prominent home page design intended to surface key services without extra scrolling and will be promoted on the city’s website and social channels when it goes live. Staff asked council for any final input before launch; no formal action was taken.
