A special meeting of the board of commissioners convened Aug. 25 for an executive session to discuss collective bargaining under 7042.30.1forty, and the body returned at 2:00 p.m. with no action to follow, a staff member said.
The session was called at the start of the meeting and was expected to last about an hour. "One hour or less," a staff member said during preliminary remarks as attendees introduced themselves for the record.
Officials introduced attendees before entering closed session; those named in the record included producer Mike French; Commissioner Mora Cozones; Brian Keane; Sherritt; CFO Mark Lane; Bob Wenzel, chief corrections deputy; Bonnie Dimler, director for HR and risk management; and Commissioner Randy Johnson.
A motion was made to move into executive session until 2:00 p.m.; members verbally responded "aye." The meeting returned at 2:00 p.m., and a staff member said, "no action will follow." No formal votes or policy actions were recorded in the public portion of the meeting.
The meeting then was adjourned.
