County officials said the county’s congressional contacts and participation in federal briefings may help resolve confusion about funding eligibility. A board member noted the matter would benefit from continued engagement in Washington, D.C., rather than relying solely on correspondence.
The motion passed on a roll call with recorded ayes and the board asked staff to circulate the final letter and cc list once drafted.
