Zoning Board elects chair and vice chair; names forwarded to County Board

The Zoning Board of Appeals elected leadership for the coming year and will forward a resolution to the County Board to formalize appointments.
During the meeting the Zoning Board of Appeals elected its chair and vice chair for the 2025–26 term and directed staff to prepare a resolution for County Board confirmation.
Board members nominated and voted; the motion to elect the chair and vice chair carried on roll call. The board chair will preside at ZBA meetings and manage meeting procedures; the vice chair will serve in the chair’s absence.
Committee members asked that staff prepare a short memo describing the duties of both offices and forward the recommended appointments to the County Board as a resolution for formal confirmation.
The board thanked members for their willingness to serve and adjourned the meeting following the election and other business.
