The Mariposa County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved Aug. 19 the county’s 2023–2028 county self‑improvement plan (SIP) for the California Child and Family Services Review and authorized Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) to submit the plan to the California Department of Social Services. Katie Coggan, program administrator for child welfare services, presented the SIP and described strengths and areas for improvement identified in the county self‑assessment.
