During the agenda’s public-comment period, resident and longtime community member Engle urged greater citizen engagement and encouraged the new leadership to hold more outreach and work sessions to increase public participation. Engle said he hoped new leaders “will be motivated to create more citizen interaction, more meetings or work sessions where the pulse of the community could be exchanged with you as a commission to help us grow.”
The commission’s selections are effective immediately for the 2025–2026 term; the chair and vice chair will preside over upcoming commission meetings and any agenda items forwarded to the Town Council for action.
