The commission’s recommendation will go to the mayor and city council for final action.
Staff planner Sarah (staff member) told the commission the proposal is intended to “align the boundary to facilitate a future residential subdivision” and that, in staff’s view, the amendment “is consistent with and conforms to the goals of the general plan.” The staff report noted the site’s prior zoning approval (Ordinance No. 1485, June 2005), mailed public notice on April 22, 2025, sign posting on April 23, 2025, and that three letters of opposition had been received when the staff report was completed; additional opposition letters were included in the packet delivered to…
