Aiden, the board’s high school representative, told the board about mentoring freshmen during the start of the school year and his work in peer mediation and student ambassador programs. He said he attended multiple leadership trips over the summer — speaking engagements paid for by other organizations — and described learning from peers across the U.S. and internationally.
“I was successfully able to tell everybody there that pretty much just play your cards right, know the people, network, show build your reputation at the beginning of freshman year,” Aiden said, describing advice he gave new students. He also said his leadership experiences helped him develop empathy and cross-cultural communication skills.
Aiden said he remains class valedictorian candidate for the class of 2026, and he identified Princeton University as a prospective college goal. Board members responded with congratulations and encouragement; the transcript records board members thanking him and praising his contributions.
