Commission hears progress report on tower construction and runway rehabilitation

He said the plan includes acquiring a backup generator with available funds. On runway rehabilitation, Garber said Emory SAP has finished the pavement work and "the only thing outstanding is the final markings." He said the contractor must wait the required 30-day cure before the final markings can be applied and that staff are coordinating scheduling with Emory SAP.
Commissioners asked questions about the tower and runway timing and budget; Garber said Greg Collier, the chair, is out this week and will return next month. The update was informational; no formal action or appropriation was taken during the meeting.
