During public comments July 19, a resident said he wants to purchase a Cessna 182 at Springdale Airport and assume the lease for Hangar 104.
Gary O'Neil, speaking alongside Arnold Morris, told commissioners he wanted to buy the aircraft and “assume the lease for Hangar 104.” Commissioners declined to make an immediate decision during public comment and asked the visitor to provide written documentation — including a bill of sale and specific hangar details — so staff can place the item on the commission’s next agenda for formal consideration. “If you'll put together in writing the things Greg's asked for and get them to Beth, they'll make sure they're on next month's agenda and we'll we can address it at that point,” one commissioner said.
Commissioners clarified that public-comment remarks do not substitute for an agenda item and that any lease-change request must be presented in writing for formal action.
