Council reappoints planning commissioners and approves board appointments

The Texarkana City Council approved several appointments and reappointments Monday, thanking citizens for their service.
Council Member Meador nominated three reappointments to the Planning and Zoning Commission: Jean Joy Northam and James Larkins (both presented in the record). Council Member Davis nominated David Crenshaw to be appointed as an alternate member of the Board of Adjustment. The council also reappointed Council Member Thompson to the Bi-State IAC Committee to continue representing Texarkana, Texas on that regional committee.
A motion to approve the appointments was made and seconded; council voted unanimously to confirm the appointments and reappointments.
