Board renews inmate-healthcare contract with Adventist Health Tillamook

Tillamook County commissioners approved renewal of a professional services agreement on June 11 with Northwest Medical Foundation of Tillamook, doing business as Adventist Health Tillamook, to provide health care services for adults in custody at the county jail.
A lieutenant from the Tillamook County Sheriff’s Office said the county has worked with Adventist Health for eight to nine years and described the provider’s service as satisfactory. County leaders said contract finalization had encountered delays but that the parties had worked through them and recommended renewal.
A motion to approve the professional services agreement was moved, seconded and adopted by the board.
