Committee members said staff should consider production needs (camera angles and editing for video podcasts), designate a consistent host, and identify a city communications lead or contractor to manage production. The committee suggested using next year’s council budget to procure equipment and asked staff to return with a proposed approach and cost estimate; staff and a council member with private-sector podcasting experience offered to share vendor research.
