The Pratt County Board of County Commissioners approved renewing the county’s membership at the chamber’s new top-tier "diamond" level on June 2, increasing the county’s annual chamber payment to $3,000.
Ashley Smith, who identified herself as president and CEO of the Priory Chamber of Commerce, presented changes to membership tiers and benefits to the commissioners and asked the county to continue at the top level. Smith said the chamber added membership tiers and increased pricing as part of a two-year cycle of periodic rate adjustments and broader changes to benefits and sponsorship opportunities.
Smith explained the new diamond tier replaces the prior platinum tier. The diamond tier, at $3,000, includes sponsorship opportunities for chamber events, two tickets per quarter for county staff to attend trainings or "lunch and learn" events and other promotional benefits. The commissioners discussed the additional perks and voted to contribute at the diamond level. A motion to renew at the diamond level passed 3-0.
Chamber board members present introduced themselves during the meeting: Crystal Coleman (board chair), Stacy Hanson (outgoing board member), Katie Moose (board member), Jeremy Doggett (chair-elect), Holly Lachfal (incoming), Jackie Mundt (secretary and chamber economic development representative) and others.
The county’s membership payment and benefits will be recorded in county accounts; specific budget line details were not read into the record during the motion.
