County staff said the county will move items out of the professional building and end the lease there because the completed lift provides ADA access at the county facility. The contractor representative said the contingency work on switches and lighting accounted for the additional $7.97 and that the only portion to be drawn from capital-improvement dollars is the previously approved amount. The representative also said the county kept the professional-building lease available "in case somebody did need ADA compliant" access and added, "we could show here's what we're doing to make sure that we're in compliance."
