The committee approved the April 3 SIOC meeting minutes and voted to accept the city’s financial dashboard for the street sales tax fund, members said, with no opposition.
The financial dashboard covered the July 1, 2024–March 31, 2025 fiscal period. Staff reported sales tax revenue alone was at about 73% of budgeted projections and that when additional revenue sources (including grants) were included the fund was at roughly 99% of anticipated income at the end of the third quarter.
The dashboard presentation said additional revenues—identified in the report as grant funding and similar items—were performing at about 246% of the original budgeted amount for those lines. City staff also reported other revenue categories and encumbrances were tracking positively against budget and that the overall fund balance was in the positive.
A committee member moved to approve the April 3 minutes; another committee member seconded, and the motion passed with all members saying “aye.” Separately, a member moved to accept the financial report, a second was given, and the committee again voted unanimously to accept it.
The acceptance of the report was presented as informational to the committee; staff said the finance office will provide additional reporting tied to upcoming bond activity in future briefings.
The committee did not take formal action beyond those approvals at this meeting.
