Separately, the board accepted a $3,000 donation from Cathy McCabe to establish a maintenance fund for a scoreboard dedicated to her husband; the donation followed consultation with athletic staff about anticipated upkeep costs. Interim Superintendent Hines said Coach Cousins had suggested a maintenance reserve in the amount of $3,000 and that McCabe would send the funds for repairs as needed. The board approved the donation by voice vote (recorded 6–0).
The adoptions and the donation were recorded as motions and passed without amendments.
