The Glynn County Mainland Planning Commission voted 6-0 on Aug. 11, 2025, to recommend rezoning a vacant parcel at 77 Glenmarsh Court from a PD text that allowed a senior care use back to Medium Residential (MR) and to approve a companion site plan for a 128-unit multifamily development.
Senior planner Christopher Carey said the parcel is about 8.79 acres and that the existing PD previously permitted a senior‑care facility at a density of 14.7 units per acre.
