The actions covered front- and side-setback reductions, increases in backyard fence and accessory-structure heights, and modest adjustments to allowable impervious surface.
The consent agenda items had been reviewed in a prior work session and carried staff stipulations. County Zoning Division Manager Mr. Peterson read each consent case into the record and confirmed applicants were present and that no one formally opposed the listed cases. After the reading, a board member moved to approve the consent agenda; the motion was seconded and passed 5–0.
Why it matters: Consent agendas bundle noncontroversial requests so the board can focus meeting time on contested or complex items; homeowners and homeowners associations on the consent list can proceed to permitting steps subject to any staff conditions.
