The City Council approved Resolution 2025-8 to plat lots 1 through 6 in the industrial addition to the city of Beresford in Lincoln County. The platting formalizes a right-of-way to support the planned Unplugged Road and expands the lot around a substation while keeping key sewer infrastructure on city property.
Council discussion referenced donated land from the cement plant for the new roads and noted the city has preserved a 66-foot right-of-way through the property while reserving additional frontage to support sewer access. Staff said there is interest from at least one prospective buyer and hoped that construction on at least one lot could begin next year.
