The council opened the public hearing for the additional request, asked for in-person and online testimony and heard from no speakers who wished to comment for the NEOGOV item. Jeremy Stewart (resident) was present but said he intended to address other issues at the general public comment period rather than the NEOGOV hearing. After closing the hearing the council moved and seconded the funding request and approved it by voice vote.
Auditor Debbie Crum announced the item would be available for public hearing and that members attending online should be given an opportunity to testify; the council followed its standard two-minute public-hearing rule with a 30-second warning before the time expired.
The council approved the additional appropriation and closed the NEOGOV public hearing; no roll-call vote tally was recorded on the record.
