In discussion the commissioners and park leaders explored the feasibility of an online reservation system for campground spots and the cost of implementing such a system; the park and 4‑H council agreed to research vendor and county accounting implications. Park staff also clarified the campground policy for extended stays: county policy allows two‑week stays with a required two‑day absence between stays, and the board said staff applies discretion for residents in need.
No budget appropriation changes were made at the meeting; park directors asked staff to continue exploring reservation platforms and operational improvements and to report back before final budget adoption.
