Town staff and the code enforcement officer said they had not received notice and that the council would investigate whether prior agreements or state permitting predated the current council and staff. The town manager said he had reached out to the utility’s government affairs team to request information and would report back. No formal action or vote was taken; staff said they will follow up with the utility and research any prior authorizations or notices.
