Frontier Cooling and Heating praises Mission community after nomination

Jay Villegas, vice president of Frontier Cooling and Heating, told City of Mission officials that the family-owned heating, ventilation and air-conditioning business has deep local roots and has worked to support schools and residents since it was founded in February 2007. Villegas said the business was started by his father after a long career at Semoran Country Club, and that Frontier has been located “on 495 in Inspiration” since 2015. "My name is Jay Villegas, and I work with Frontier Cooling and Heating, and I'm the vice president," he told the officials. The company performs both residential and commercial work, and Villegas said it has received industry recognition. "We're also the president's award winner of Fatima. So what that means for Carrier is that you have to have exceptional customer service, training on a weekly basis, and then also tons of reviews," Villegas said. Villegas described regular community support by Frontier, saying the company donates to MCISD and attends school supply drives. "Anywhere that we can support our city, we're always gonna be there to do it," he said, adding the company is open seven days a week. He also said residents nominated the company and that being chosen for the recognition was meaningful. "So to be nominated and to be chosen, because we've worked so hard ... I wanna just keep on going higher and higher and support who supports us," Villegas said.
