Council reports closed-session action: town manager evaluation concluded; salary increase approved

At the opening of the Aug. 5 special meeting Mayor Ravasio reported the council had reconvened from closed session and concluded its evaluation of the town manager. The mayor said the council approved a salary increase for the manager; no dollar figure was disclosed at the meeting. The mayor told attendees that "there'll be more information about that at our next council meeting." The announcement was made as the meeting converted from a previously scheduled special session into the regular Aug. 5 council meeting.
