Vendor Multivista proposes photo and drone documentation for county construction; cost estimates shared

Ryan said Multivista’s services deliver an as-built photographic record that can be shared with county staff, contractors and the public and that the owner receives the deliverable with no ongoing storage fees. He described the core package for in-wall/interior/exterior milestone documentation as roughly $8,500 (proposal excludes slab documentation as quoted) and said a drone-visit subscription was priced at $350 per month; combined, the parties discussed the drone plan for roughly 12 months (about $4,200) making the total quoted example around $12,700, with a typical invoicing pattern of 25% upfront and the balance billed monthly over the project term.
Facilities staff said the general contractor for the health department was already providing frequent photos, and committee members asked staff to compare existing photo coverage with Multivista’s delivery. Multivista said the company could revise the proposal to remove the slab portion and forward a revised quote to Rick for budget-and-finance review; a committee member noted that if the county proceeds, the project could go to Budget and Finance rather than require full-commission approval.
Ryan said his firm would upload existing plans and photos into its app if the county wished and that the county would own the final deliverables. No contract was approved at the meeting; staff said the proposal would be routed to the budget-and-finance committee and returned to the facilities committee for consideration if recommended.
