The commission also scheduled administrative items: the canvass for a small primary will be Aug. 12 at 9:30 a.m., and a groundbreaking ceremony for Sugar Creek Child Care Center is set for Aug. 4 at 10:30 a.m.; commissioners said one or more may attend. Staff will publish the budget hearing notice and continue work sessions on the budget before the hearing.
