Cookwell City Council approved the consent agenda July 17, which included multiple procurement and administrative items. Items approved included awarding a bid for LED lights, payment of a records-management software fee, declaring vehicles surplus, and paying tariff charges on a previously approved water-meter bid.
The council also approved purchases using statewide contracts or cooperative purchasing agreements: two 2025 Ford Super Duty cab trucks with crane bodies using statewide contract number 209; a 2025 CAT 305 mini excavator with hammer, using statewide contract 225; and a brush truck from MAC purchased through the Soarscribe purchasing cooperative. The consent agenda also authorized payment for one year of a three-year contract with Samsera to provide GPS and dash-camera services, a contract the council had approved April 3, 2025.
No separate discussion was recorded on the line items during the meeting; the consent agenda passed on a 4-0 vote.
