The council approved $1,000 to the Town of Bridgeville for its back-to-school event, $1,000 to American Youth Football for the Woodbridge AYF 2025 season, $1,000 to the Ocean View Historical Society for historical-village restoration efforts, and a combined $4,000 allocation to the Delaware Botanic Gardens for its 2025 fundraising dinner. The Delaware Botanic Gardens award was recorded as $2,500 from District 4, $1,000 from District 5 and $500 from District 3.
Each award was moved and seconded on the floor and carried by recorded vote. The awards reflect councilmember district allocations recorded during the meeting.
