Council enters executive session on land acquisition and pending litigation

Sussex County Council voted to enter executive session at the conclusion of the Aug. 12 public meeting to discuss land acquisition and pending litigation.

The motion to go into executive session was made by Mr. Riley and seconded by Ms. Grunbaum. The motion passed on a roll call of yes votes and the council announced it was entering executive session. No details of the matters discussed in executive session were disclosed in the public record at the close of the meeting.

Per the council’s public meeting practice, items discussed in executive session are not part of the public minutes unless and until the council returns to public session and records action or directs staff.
